About

Gregory Keith Pillows was an epiphany I had while on a road trip in 2010 to San Francisco. I was in need of some new inspiration and thought immersing myself in a city that I love would do the trick. Back in Los Angeles, I work as a stylist and prize buyer, so I am always looking around for ideas in fabrics. Naturally I found myself wandering in and out of the incredible shops and absorbing the city when I stumbled upon some beautiful vintage and rare fabrics. While surrounded by the many different textures, prints, hues and color — I thought how cool would it be to make pillows out of them!

My vision is to find vintage and rare fabrics to make new creations. I design my pillows in vignettes as a clothing designer may design a collection. Each of my vignettes are inspired by all the things I love, such as architecture, photographs I have taken (I also think of myself as an amateur photographer), places I have traveled, people that I know and love, my world of shopping and commercial production. And last but not least, I find nature often drives my creativity. I am constantly out in the world, soaking up all that it has to offer and all of my encounters to create new vignettes.
